Carved wood, then applied gesso, then painted.
Condition is excellent.
This figure was made in the bastidor/caged style because in her original presentation she would have been dressed in very fine clothes. Most collectors prefer not to place clothes on these caged figures as they make wonderful decoration with without being dressed.
Such a striking and lovely piece is rarely found, especially is such nice condition.
